once AI and robots take over human jobs, will there be a UBI system or will there simply be soylent green and some rich guys in fancy bonkers?

I don't think AI can take over because you know how they use the water to function eventually it will run out

I'm more worried about younger generations becoming too reliant on AI and not developing proper critical thinking skills (i.e. understanding and interpreting the output of AI prompts). AI might completely take over unskilled jobs in the future (i.e. jobs that are primarily centered around clerical duties), but I don't think AI is advanced enough to replace critical thinking.
