My Aunt just showed me the genealogical proof that we are the illegitimate descendants of Edward, King George III's son.

This means not only does my ancestry have a DIRECT ROLE in the American Revolution, one of my favourite events in history as an American Patriot, but I am ROYALTY.

Not only am I royalty, but I have been studying the lineage of this guy. Not only is he British Royalty, but he has German roots, Hungarian roots, Russian roots, Austrian roots, Slovenian roots, Polish roots, Dutch roots, Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian roots, and JEWISH roots. There's a direct tie between him and KING DAVID.

I feel like I got a euphoric boost, these are my people. I feel like a KING and next time I talk to toilets I'm going to bring this up.

I'm sure if you track most people's ancestry far enough they'll eventually be genetically tied to some historical leader or royalty. Cool that your family was able to keep records of themselves so you could look back on your lineage but it doesn't really mean all that much, especially since you'd have no claim to the throne.
