I learned this shit just today. I’m aware it’s technically old news, but I’m genuinely speechless at how little anger there is/was about it. More speechless than I am at the fact that something like this happened at all. This should feel like a slap in the face to any ugly/lonely male with a modicum of self-respect.

To give you some background on Ashnikko, she’s an American whore rapper who’s basically the female version of bbnos. A horrifically bad “musician” who blew up purely off ShitTok dance trends. She herself seems to acknowledge her status as a meme “artist,” considering her Wikipedia page says she sees Doja Cat as one of her “peers.” I won’t torture you with links to her “music,” but I’ll share some of her inspiring lyricism:





Quite literally scraping the absolute bottom of the barrel in “talent” here. Royalty-free music mogs this braindead cumsleeve’s entire discography.

You can find so much more if you choose to go down this rabbit hole, but that’s all I’ll include (in the interest of not making this thread a book). Any sane society would have this demonic fucking whore dragged into a public square and slowly tortured to death.

For the record, I don’t even gaf about Re:Zero. IIRC I dropped it midway through the first season. So the anger you’re about to see isn’t really about this particular outcome in and of itself, but rather the broader pattern it represents.

Firstly, I’d like to address how utterly retarded the producers of this show are. Re:Zero is a long-running anime with a huge audience (primarily male, as that’s the demographic it targets) that both takes itself seriously and is held in high regard by a large audience. Ashnikko is an AMERICAN MEME RAPPER who rose to popularity through fucking TIKTOK TRENDS, and who won’t be relevant past the 2020s. She already fails to crack so much as 6 million listeners on Spotify.

There is absolutely NOTHING to justify the ASININE fucking decision to slap her on an OP. This will be a PERMANENT STAIN on the legacy of Re:Zero as a show (and franchise) as early as five years from now. Great job taking a massive fucking piss on your own product, you retarded Japcucks. This is the shittiest, most desperate attempt at Western pandering I have seen in my fucking LIFE.

Secondly, I wanna talk about the broader pattern/phenomenon that this is a part of, which is the destruction of Japanese media as a cope for ugly/socially rejected men. For many incels, anime and Jap media was an escape from Western-style globohomo. An escape from mouthy hypergamous foids, the cucked worshippers of said foids, nasty decadent faggots, third world shitskin invaders, etc. That escape has been gradually coming to an end.

We’ve all seen AAA Japanese games turn to shit chasing a mentally impaired Western normoid audience. We’ve also seen many anime and middleware/indie Jap games get/getting their English releases butchered by troonslaters. That’s arguably more significant than some TikTok-famous thot being featured on an opening – yet this still feels even more like peak clown world.

I remember how, for years after anime and other (more niche) forms of Japanese media like JRPGs and VNs went mainstream during/after the lockdown, people complained about normies – and especially misandrist e-thots – invading international fandoms for these products. At least that problem had a simple solution: don’t engage with the fandoms. Now, you have these same normoid fucking whores INVADING THE PRODUCTS THEMSELVES.

For those of you oldfags who grew up back when watching anime was squarely an ugly male cope, congrats – the SAME WHORES who would’ve bullied you for liking it back then are now SINGING THE OPENINGS to these shows This will not be the first or last time something like this happens btw. As the Western and international fanbase for Jap media only grows (and eclipses the domestic market) you’re going to see way more retarded creative decisions like this.

One would assume Western pandering may be likely to happen franchise-by-franchise, but I’m pretty sure Re:Zero is comparably big (if not even bigger) in Japan as it is in the West – and that still didn’t save it from this blatant, egregious, and utterly ridiculous attempt at Western pandering.

Re:Zero is trash. Only the first season was good, from there on it became a drag of foid drama, with Emilia forcefully crying every episode.
