What prompted this post is a video that Asmongold put out where he "reacts" to Chad's shortform Feminism critique. I'm not suggesting you watch this as frankly most of these people don't deserve our views or the income they receive, but here's the original video:

BBC graph on widening male female political divide:
Some ways males are screwed:
1) Male University attendance is in the gutter (there are more pushes for women in Uni/more scholarships for women/men know that they actually have to work for a living whereas women know even if they don't work after college they have other paths open to them -- also grading is more lenient on women vs men for the same work: https://www.bbc.com/news/education-31751672)
2) The courts are stacked against men with harsher punishments for the same crimes adjusted for prior criminal history per University of Michigan study: https://repository.law.umich.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1164&context=law_econ_current
3) Divorce court stacked against men -- women are literally incentivized to divorce for the windfall JFL. I spoke with an older woman yesterday who divorced her husband than bought two beach houses with the money, I shit you not. And they almost always get the kids so that's a non-issue to them as well.
4) Men are dramatically disadvantaged when it comes to dating and sex vs women such that most young men are single and either get extremely rare sex or no sex at all whereas for women this is much less common and what's happening is a small cohort of men are effectively sharing most of the young women. Also older men with more resources are taking women from younger cohorts:
5) General western societal inertia and standards restrain men's violence and male advantages but they do not restrain females at all anymore (hypergamy is completely unregulated now and monogamy is no longer enforced as a standard).
6) Women are given a genuine choice between a career and stay at home mom life, men have no such choice and are expected to work -- women especially demand this
7) Better welfare access for women and mothers (women are net tax recipients, men are net tax payers)
8) Societal bias against men in hiring (affirmative action)
9) Societal bias against men in terms of misogyny but misandry is tolerated or even actively encouraged by mainstream news networks, educational institutions, and social media and even governments/laws for things like "hate speech"
If men were smart they'd try to find some way to unify around common cause and enact meaningful political change. But of course the powers that be do basically every possible thing they can to avoid that. Frankly we need men and women to pair off roughly 1 to 1 with their net value match and start having/raising children again in a traditional nuclear family structure. But because that would entail restraining women's mate choice somewhat the sky is falling and men just have to "man up" in this environment that clearly does not care about them and just treats them like workhouse tax payer serfs who should keep their heads down and do as their told. Ask yourselves, why would any of us die or fight defend our own countries at this point? Their is no value add social contract anymore, women have extremely privileged in the western world and it's at men's expense make no mistake.
There are several key things to note from the video:
1) The original video only has any traction because it's a Chad saying these things -- if you or I go on TikTok and made the exact same argument in precisely the same way it would get no traction and all of the comments would be calling us some variation of "evil incels" or other typical shaming/minimizing tactics. That's just the reality, to most people the validity of what is being said doesn't really matter, rather what matters is A) Who is saying it (are they attractive, do they have status, does their voice sound like a pipsqueak, are they correct race/sex to be "allowed" say or joke about what they are, etc) and B) Is what they're saying a threat to one's own advantages (e.g. why women immediately mass insult any project aimed at conveying male disadvantages).
2) Asmon is fence sitting in this video -- some of his points are good, but a lot of the video is him minimizing just how bad male issues really are right now. One thing he claims early on that genocide was always done by men, but this isn't true. Queens in Europe were actually more likely to initiate war by a wide margin than Kings. Also, no shit men would have to be the ones commonly engaged in warfare because men have always been the combatants and the ones dying on the front lines and protecting their society -- and feminists want to claim that's a bad thing? That that somehow paints men in a negative light? Are they fucking insane? Are they retards? This is a noble sacrifice men have made for the greater good.
3) One of the reasonable things Asmon says is that if you want a term to be about gender equality than it shouldn't be a gendered term (e.g. Feminism vs Egalitarianism).
4) Asmon claims that men and women simply have different advantages in life -- this used to be true, sure, but now? All of men's advantages are suppressed by broad society -- what good is being physically stronger than women in a modern advanced wesetern economy? What are you going to do with that strength? Go die for the army for a country that hates you? Work some dogshit low paying job like construction? How exactly is this an "advantage" in modern western countries? Explain it to me feminists because you fucking can't. > "Oh but men can rape!" Yeah and then they'll go to jail, get fired, and have everyone in their life disown them while the woman who was the victim will be elevated and given positive status and sympathy from the event longform. It's actually because of the latter that false rape claims are so common -- after all no one can "disprove" them usually and women know this.
5) Asmon acknowledges that there are double standards such that it's far more accepted to say things like "I hate men" compared to "I hate women" (anyone that's spent time on mainstream social media platforms should be able to acknowledge this from simple basic observation). But after that he lectures men and claims it's men's fault that they're bombing in society. In "some" cases sure that's true -- some. But there is no way you look at these broad trends in the west and tell me that it's personal failure, no, this is systemic and driven by top down changes. That's the actual reality. But men who are successful obviously don't understand that.
6) > "They're not trying to win an argument, they're trying to suppress an argument"
This is true and based
7) It's completely ironic and hilarious when these extraordinarily fortunate people with extremely easy cushy lives who lucked out beyond belief with their successful streaming career want to lecture other people about how failing in life is actually your own fault and you'd be successful if only you weren't talking on twitter and instead focused on improving your life. Lol. Lmao even. OK Asmon, and how exactly am I supposed to do that? College again? Who the FUCK can afford that now in the states? Seriously who? I cannot go back unless they price slash dramatically and that's not gonna happen -- I can't lose out on income for two years while going into the debt hole at the same time, I will be homeless you fucking retard. We're not getting on grandparent's prices anymore for homes and uni, but I guess when you have millions of dollars these things just don't occur to you.
At my last job I was passed over for a promotion I'd been working towards for years by the new girl because management wanted to affirmative action hire women into leadership roles. I saw this happen with my own two eyes, the new CEO literally created brand new positions (these new roles don't do anything while the occupants rake in tons of money) for their nepo friends and then put a completely unqualified woman into the team lead role for no other reason other than she was a "woman in tech" and didn't quit like the others. Worst manager I've ever had, she did absolutely nothing at work -- if I did that I would've gotten fired. She was also having an affair with one of the higher ups -- but that must just be a coincidence huh? People act like that's a meme that doesn't' happen, but I have literally seen it happen.
Hard work and strategic planning can help you have a better life and some people did make bad choices that railroaded their life into failure -- but at the same time a massive amount of things are completely out of your hands. Tons of things. Honestly life just kinda happens to you to some degree and you do the best you can, that's the reality. What you are (and who you know) matters more than what you do.

Most young men are single. Most young women are not.
More than 60 percent of young men are single, nearly twice the rate of unattached young women, signaling a larger breakdown in the social, romantic and sexual life of the American male. Men i…
