The simple truth is, wherever you have unequal power relations in this world, the person in a stronger position is probably going to be higher-status, higher-income, and better-looking than the other, all at the same time. However, people only have empathy for rich high-status and attractive women, and are disgusted by ugly people, so the definition of who is the oppressor and who the oppressed gets switched around to fit people's biases, and rich and attractive women are seen as simply the victims of people unlike them simply existing.
