Women are masters at this and use this technique constantly to appear superior, dominate men and smear their reputation (and for other purposes too).

Contradicting you publicly, making a confident retort or argument that isn't necessarily logically sound, saying a thinly veiled insult directed at you, a snarky comment, etc... In society, these kinds of things can do more damage to a person than a beating.

And yet, what are your choices:
1. Say nothing and be emasculated and humiliated.
2. Scramble to say something quickly while the moment hasn't passed and thus saying it awkwardly and looking stupid.
3. Call out her bitchy attitude and be seen as a misogynist, aggressive asshole.
4. If you are smart, quick, have a lot of experience with verbal arguments and talking to people in general (so not introverted/awkward/anxious) then you can say something smart and still look like an asshole, and then the bitch will hate you and spread lies behind your back and turn everyone against you.

And this is just one tool out of the many that women have to succeed in society, while trampling over and destroying any man she sees as below her (any non-Chad).
