I mean, I always knew that females were somewhat prone to narcissism when it comes to sex and relations, but guys have their own form of narcissism. But FDS really confirmed for me that narcissism as a pathology really exists. There are females out there who have really stopped empathizing with males (or maybe they are unable to in the first place) and start believing in a grandiose sense of self worth, which they call standards, and convince themselves they are right in their belief.
It is ironic because some might call incels mysoginists, but you have to understand that incels have a rich emotional inner world because of the many hardships we had to deal with, the suffering, the rejections. We point out the narcissistic side of females but I believe on a deeper level we deeply love females, and are just hurt almost to the point of no repair. But in fact I think incels would be very loyal if they had a loving partner.
The people you see on FDS are misandristic, but nothing like incels. They have no been shaped by emotional suffering but rather act from a place of infantilism and narcissistic demand. They are extremely overwhelmed with the complexities of life, but they don't see fault with themselves and only rely on very primitive defense mechanisms such a splitting and most of all projection.
I am amazed about how they are not able to understand the male perspective at all, and want to find a partner according to an extremely rigid system which is never going to work in life:
- they look for a HVM (high value male), which according to their standards means someone who pays for the girl, is good looking, has a good job and education and does not watch porn
- if a conflict happens, instead of communicating and working it out they will rely on their grandiose sense of self worth. They call it a "red flag", which is just another term to disguise their own narccisistic injury. An example: in one thread a girl dated a guy and he told her that he watches porn once in 2-3 months. This started a discussion on FDS about whether she should dump him.
- They revert to "block and delete". If you can't stand being offended then you should not try to have a relationship. E.g. from the thread: first they convince themselves that they need to re-educate their partner about porn, but then they follow this with another lie that they are not their mommy, that it's not their responsibility. Seemingly being completely unaware to the fact that watching porn is very normal, and that females do it as well.
"Block and delete" is a term that can only be created by the female mind. Obviously they have never felt the pain of being blocked by someone they cared about. Females can be very cold in that regard. They block because they don't want follow up messages, which they view as stalking.
Maybe a bit of a water is wet thread, but for me it just proves that female narcissism as a pathology really exists. They explain their world in black-white terms such as HVM and LVM, regulate their emotions by blaming their partner, cut off contact of their are offended, assume they are always right, devalue their partners, etc. In short, all the classic signs of pathological narcissism.
