My teachers were from the Greatest Generation. Went to school in the 1960's with 50+ year old teachers.
No unwed mothers, no race mixing, almost all kids had both parents, no rap music.
We respected The American Flag, stood for The Star Spangled Banner and said the pledge of allegiance.
Kids respected their teachers.
Look at a public school from the 1950's. See how well the kids and teachers were dressed.
I saw it, with my own eyes.
Even the smell of the school books was much better back then.
