I'm a mestizo. I'm born and raised in the US. Throughout my entire life, people assume I don't speak English until I start talking in my flawless US-accented English; upon first glancing at me, Americans assume I'm a greasy little foreigner that just landed. I notice that good-looking ethnics do not get this treatment, and are often assumed to speak English. With 8 or above Chadriguezes, Chadpreets (like Hamza), or Changs, people assume that they're integrated into the country they're living in, but when people think you don't speak English, its a sign that you give off a homely third-world vibe.
