Has anyone read The Idiot ? I only read the first 300 pages cuz it pissed me off how much of a foid worshipping simp the main character is. I stumbled upon this video where this based reviewer calls Muichkine a simp in the first minute of the video, so it reinforces my opinion on the book. Should I finish it ? Does it get any better past the first part ?

This. Definitely his best short story. The House of the Dead is also excellent.

It gets better, though the ending is anticlimactic.
