The Catholic Church is very anti-euthanasia. They don't believe one should be allowed to end their life. They believe in forced medical treatments to keep people alive. On one hand this is very bad and horrible and I think people should not have to live. However, it does show that the Church values all life equally. The reason they oppose euthanasia is because they say it is not compatible with human dignity because life value.
Although I would not want to be kept alive, I do admire that they believe my life is valuable and worth preserving, I do like how they care about me and see me as a Soul with infinite value. I read about a case of Elizabeth Bouvia, she was a neck down cripple with Cerebral Palsey and tried to die via starvation, the Catholic Church endorsed her forcedfeeding. They argued that no matter how disabled or economically useless one is or ugly one is, they deserve to life and experience full human dignity.
