the reason I’m asking this is because yesterday. While sleeping in my hootch. I was constantly waking up in the middle of the night. I also recall struggling to breathe and sweating.

Firewatch (military term for sentry duty.) woke me up telling me I’ve been screaming in my sleep.

I’ve always had issues with sleeping, even before military service. But I think I’m slowly getting worse. Does anyone else struggle with sleep?

Has the military had a negative effect on you? Maybe the stress is affecting your sleep brocel?

My dreams can be a mixed bag. When they're good they're great, but when they're bad they're horrible.

It goes between the two extremes mostly because that's the way I do things.

I usually don't dream tbh. I feel like the only time I dream is when I'm taking a nap in the middle of the day

I don’t know. I always had issues with sleeping. :feelsbadman:

People are mad at me for screaming in my sleep but I can’t help it.

Maybe I should get actual help for it. I don’t think it’s normal. That’s why I’m checking with you lot.

I Don't really dream, I do know some people who can and fewer who have constant nightmares

Nightmares most nights.

:feelsbadman: sorry fren

Maybe it would be good to look into it

I had a dream where a nigger chimped out

Terrifying shit

Fellow nightmarecel. :feelsautistic:

In all seriousness. Nightmares have the fearsome reputation that they do for a reason… it’s so bad I rather not even mention some of the nightmares I had just based on how disturbing it is.

Not sure if it’s a reflection of one’s mental state or a sign of a bigger problem. Dreams as a whole are a strange phenomenon.

It's rare for me to have any dream or nightmare. I want to experience sleep paralysis.

I’ve been having a reoccurring dream for months where I violently rear end a car. I keep and trying to press the brakes but they just don’t work. I get this insane whiplash in the dream that wakes me up.

Strange isn’t it? You feel the dream. And that’s what bothers me. It doesn’t feel like I just dreamed it. It felt genuine. Like I actually got hurt. And for some reason woke up in bed.

in high school I dreamed nightmares.

Yeah I wake up one or more times during every sleep and it’s hard to fall back asleep. Sometimes I can’t fall asleep again and only get like 3-5 hours
