Outside of the military, we've only have phones with one new feature being made which can cost a thousand dollars and the hoverboards which were pretty much just scooters without the handles and were stopped from being produced because they kept catching on fire.

@Fearofeight Thoughts?

there is 5G coming, dont worry

No they are just hiding it i've read conspiracy theory about scientist tesla few years ago but can't remember it too lazy to google and post copy paste aswell so u might look at his works and theories about masons etc
Probably zionists and satanist luciferians have the all ground breaking technology

On the contrary, I think we're advancing too fast, just look at the difference in technology between 2000 and 2020, a lot has changed. The military will always have a technological edge, since it's the main cause for technological advancement throughout human history.

Yes 1910 was the year we should have stopped

Agreed.

Technology is created by sub8 men. Men lost motivation to invent and create a prosperous civilization since we are just a bunch of sexless slaves.

We need reasearch put into making AI wife bots

Singularity is out only hope

No, we’re almost there. But we don’t have automated fast food restaurants, electric vehicles, robot soldiers (sounds futuristic but it’s a possibility), grocery stores with the smallest cost of maintenance (smarter selve service aisles, larger, etc), feats in medicine as well, but we’re at this calcified modern way of living, which could be better but is always a step or so away from being primitive

Everything or at least practically everything that we have now of a technological sense is essentially based on advancements made by the third reich during their 12 year reign.

Jews can't create anything of substance or value.

Which is why the surviving NS scientists were all scooped up and allowed to live over here and continue their work via Operation Paperclip.

Whites are the natural creators.

Jews are the natural destroyers.

Asian races are the natural maintainers/human copy machines.

Axels are ancient technology. It doesn't stop the military from using them.

NO. If anything we're technologically accelerating at a pace most of us cannot keep up with. The problem is that we are technologically accelerating in ways that only further oppress us.

If we are talking purely about processors though, we have indeed are beginning to hit Moore's Law limitations. but we are indeed accelerating in terms of AI and government monitoring.

Where's my goddamned motherfucking flying car?

Yeah, and no amount of investing by venture capitalist funds into new technology and R&D is coming close to bridging this gap in enthusiasm, so I expect the technological stagnation to continue.

I just want to try these futuristic sex dolls ngl

No. Consumer technologies aren't an accurate representation of our advancement. We are slowing down on those because we are reaching the end. The big thing to look out for is automation, ai, and genome editing
Rousseau, Ellul, Kaczynski, and Harari can explain it better than I, but the TLDR is technology invariably changes society to restrict individual freedom, promote debauchery, and erode traditional morality that protects us. The stratified system it creates is leaving us in the dust, and a crisis awaits when it replaces us with ai and automation

genome editing

Maybe in half a century, we could significantly reduce the number of manlets by providing government-funded germline editing for all couples of below-average height, and artificially increasing the height of their offspring

We went to the moon in 1969. Haven't really done anything as groundbreaking since then

government-funded
this is never going to happen. more likely gene editing will be a privileged reserved for the rich, and inequality will take a physical form when rich people modify themselves to become smarter and stronger and better looking than the lower class. Eventually they will become a different race than us and leave us behind. You should check out "Homo Deus" by Harari.

Unfortunately, that is probably what will happen, and the "rich and beautiful" become literally so, leaving us to rot in the sewers.

Nah. Black budget give area 51 1 trillion+ per year since 1950s . Met a ranger dude who went to Siberia to retrieve the blackbox from a crashed SR71 blackbird. That was over 60 years ago. Also they have super hi tech stuff for decades, but they break down the technology into 20 different models and release a subsequent slightly better one per two months. So people end up paying 20000 for 19 gadgets not as good as a $500 now.

Seems similar to the plot of Elysium, only substitute the sewers for the barren, wasteland that will be most of Earth's surface by then.

A trillion each year? You don't think that's a little far-fetched?

Sometimes, I wish life and humanity can reset itself and return to a post-apocalyptic Adventure Time/Legend of Zelda-style feudal society, and explore the world and be free.

No , look it up in wiki. And that was in the 1950s. US budget is at least a few trillions per year and prolly at least half go to military. Black budget is separate from military budget. It's for secret stuff that go bump in the night.

Greed has stagnated technology

The end of what?

Way less than half the U.S. federal budget goes to the military

And the U.S. budget was nowhere near even a trillion back in the 50s

You're grossly exaggerating the size of the "black budget"

The end of what?
end of the social contract, of specialized labor, or just labor in general, the actual foundations of civilisation. traditionally laborers and elites have depended on each other, but we are eroding their need for us and putting the power in their hands. what is left of society will be so radically different it is reasonable to doubt if civilisation will even exist at all. it is hard to say what will happen specifically but it does not look good for humanity. gene editing and other technologies only complicate the grim reality we (most likely in 150 years) face.

If it is a secret then how you would know if I grossly exaggerating, mildly exaggerating, right on the button, grossly under estimated or udder wise? it's there and a huge amount , may be not a trillion literally then but would be a trillion adjusted to today dollar value.

Requires too much energy, would make too much noise, not practical.
I doubt that it will ever become a reality honestly. At least not with the technology we know about today.

le back in 2004. :feelskek:

Ya tbh. The rate of growth seems to have slowed down a lot. iphone was the last great leap. It made possible a whole new world of technology but that tech has pretty much hit maturity already.

what new tech is there in the military? Is it New or fundamentally different from civilian tech?

We just don't have the talent or passion that we had before, everyone's a zombie who only cares about social media likes and useless shit now.

Yes. It's not only about technology though. There are no communities anymore, people don't help each other, there is no optimism... it's like society is just waiting to die.

It's because aliens aren't giving the governments new technology anymore, so they can't do much except improve the technology they already have. If you really think humans are capable of creating computers, cellphones, and aircrafts then you're delusional. Those wagon cars from the early 1900s are pretty much the technological peak of what the human mind can create. Anything more advanced than that had some type of alien intelligence involved.

yea, where are my sexrobots and artificial wombs?

Very likely as women stopped giving a shit about guys who contribute to society
full

5G is coming just wait.

The future is definitely underwhelming

People are obsessed these days with being cynical and edgy to try to come off as more in the know than others. @mylifeistrash @turbocuckcel_7000 do you remember when this started becoming more common? I think it was the mid 90s and onward, but became commonplace after Bush's war on terror failed and the media that initially supported it tried to play up how they were always against it.

And from seeing how terrible people behave online toward each other, it is more difficult to suspend belief that humanity and cooperation to reach goals is as close and desirable as was once thought.
Even things like Southern Hospitality, Boston dialect and cream pie, humble rural communities in the Midwest, have all have been homogenized into a generic mess of people taking much of their ques of behavior and language from pop culture music, memes, and video streamers.
And people are always on diets and trying to play up how they love spicy foreign food and traveling the world.

I don't think they're faking it. Ever since 9/11 there has been a steep drop in hope and opitimism and just any will to live in America,
