Discussion Does anybody else dissociate from time to time?

Whenever I get overwhelmed with cuckllege homework or am just super tired, I'll sit and stare blankly at a wall or my monitor for 30 minutes or more, not moving. Sometimes I listen to music, sometimes pure silence.

I feel like my life is slipping away at warp speed and there is nothing I can do to stop that.

You can imagine it's literally you being possessed by a deity that does not want you to do college. Or at the very least, your body doing everything it can to make you quit. You listen to your body when it's hungry, hurt, sad, scared, etc, why not listen to it here and never do college work again?

I'm sad I can't dissociate harder, after psychosis it's like that was severely interrupted and reality shattering. To do so was my strongest cope, although I'm doing the thing where it doesn't look like I am dissociating yet I am; counts as semi unconscious training for wishful future impact toward myself since dissociation gave me mental flexibility

I'm 2.5 years in and have a shit future to look forward to with 9-5. May as well stay here where I can at least not be bothered much in my room (separate from family).
