For sub8s trying to be e-celebs it's better to just show your face (and use your real voice too, for that matter) from the get go. It will hamper your growth potential significantly at best, or make you a lolcow at worst, but in my opinion that's better than having your entire career ruined by a face reveal (or even a voice reveal, for the true voicecels of the world).

Yeah, I guess you should be open from the get go.
I know a few channels where the guys are obvious truecels.
They are good, but the channels never really pick up in subs because of their looks.
