One cannot live in his subconscious. The subconscious is basically a body robot with a memory. Only the conscious mind can "think."
The subconscious however, can "loop pre-recorded thoughts" in front of the waking consciousness to think about though.
Think of the subconscious like a computer, ie: hard drive with the os. The thinker uses the monitor and input devices.
