If you watch dreadful shows like Dandadan I can see this being an issue, those are indeed infuriating (in Dandadan's case it's even worse since it is such a bluepilled fantasy).

A lot of anime could probably be argued to be softcore porn, if not outright porn. But the same thing goes for a lot of media. I have always tried to avoid waifu garbage and similar personally, because what I'm after in media is a good story, and those types of stories don't tend to be good in my opinion.
