What I mean is you don't turn on your room lights or open your curtains/blinds to prevent natural light during the day as well.

Essentially living in a dark room most of the time and your screen doesn't count btw.

depending on my sleep schedule

The blinds wouldn't fit all the way, otherwise, it'd be completely covered.

yeah i live inside a cave nigga

Yea pretty much. My bedroom has a blackout curtain, rarely ever turn the lights on in the living room.

The only light I do use is the lamp by my bed to read.

Only darkness remains…

i use a ring light as light source to my room and that's it very ambient i'd say i hate bright lights that makes you all sweaty and shit. when i'm in long periods of paranoia i keep my curtains closed makes me feel more at ease.

i'd like to improve the lighting game in my room but that requires knowledge of interior design. i feel like the room it's a bit too dark and working on the light situation might make the place less boring more enjoyable to be at. but that shit sounds gay when i put them into written words lmao.
but if i put stuff in priority i'd go by
1) Thickening the walls and make it more sound/noise proof
2) improve lighting

Yes, sadly I am employim and have periods of time I have to not bedrot

"We'll keep the lights out for you."

"Democracy dies in darkness"

I did this for a while, but now I've became a light addict and prefer it to be as bright as possible in my room

i've always lived in the dark and still do, i blacked out all my windows and don't even have a light bulb in my room after the previous one died out years ago and i never bothered to replace it

I have my blinds open when I'm not in the room or when nobody is outside, I am not in total darkness

i have visual snow syndrome and photophobia so i have to stay in a dark room with my blinds taped just to function without chronic pain
