When you are depressed, you sleep more than an average human being. During sleep, our hair grows faster. Your hair grows noticibly fast because of your depression, indirectly. Especially noticible for people like me who shave their hair to very short lenghts (1mm on my sides and back). My hair grows by 1 cm in 20 days, that's a lot, that's over 0.5mm per 24 hours, the norm is 0.35. Even my barber says it every time that it's unbeliveable how fast my hair grows. Ifonly she knew.
