i've never understood the need for this, usernames give zero connotation to the user identity!
(unless someone dumb enough to use their in real life initials on the forum like in social media and stuff)
its a pain in the ass to look someone up through their username to find out that he is now deleted making the process of finding threads unnecessarily difficult
well since the bans looks this way: InMemoriam, i understand it might be feasible to just use account id for the deletion in order to differentiate between the two
so how about the underscore for the deleted account: InMemoriam
or perhaps assign certain situational color codes
it literally makes no difference either way, you wont be doxxed due to your forum username if this is what it's all about

Also a common issue tbh. Ngl though the delete account feature wasn't always here. It's actually a pretty new addition all things considered. For most of the forums existence, account deletion feature wasn't given to users to preserve forum content and not have pages of out of context stuff. But eventually it was changed.
