You don't want love.

You want someone to notice you, validate you, be gentle to you or you someone to be attracted or interested by you.

That is the truth for me, I believe this what most of us want the so called "love". well i hate to break it to you it's not real in this generation mostly of the couples you see are a one sided relationship, gold digging, exploiting, transactional on money, power, looks, etc

Which reminds me of Elliot Rodger's manifesto that repeatedly reveals a desire not merely for love, but for validation, recognition, and proof that he matters. Much like us, his resentment came from also feeling invisible and unwanted. In that sense, in his manifesto it reflected the idea that what many people chase under the label of "love" is often a deeper need to be noticed, desired, and valued. However, while this perspective can explains some of our and his frustrations.

I believe that we yes we should continue his legacy, let us use the hatred and bearing weight of us being looked as inferior to these pathetic people as fuel to create a utopia where for atleast short amount of time we will be seen and recognized by people.
