Great anime. The first episode has a powerful scene of Light Yagami realizing his cosmic purpose, his path in life, a concept that we Thelemites know as True Will.

Light has a strong feeling that he was chosen and is fit to combat evil. Every bone in his body is begging him to do it. From then on, his intents and actions will serve that purpose, aligning him with the cosmic order. Whether it worked or not, it's arguable that he was performing honest magick by manifesting his True Will.
