Avoid joking about STDs. Chances are, someone in the vicinity had or has one, and you will look ignorant and rude. Remember that gossiping about someone's STD can land you in court.

Imagine if it was taboo to joke about ebola because the world was having an ebola pandemic and joking about it was therefore considered insensitive. This just goes to show how widespread the STD epidemic in the West is in 2019.
