Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is so much better than Metroid

The fact people compared it to Metroid is retarded. This game is so much better than Metroid. When you backtrack, it actually makes sense and it's apparent what you need to do. The item/power progression is far more clever and reminds me of Zelda. In fact, the creator said it was inspired by Zelda and not Metroid.
In Metroid so much of the game is spent combing the map and shooting random blocks hoping to progress. I fucking hate Metroid. Castlevania mogs.

One game has you play as vampire hunters, and you wield holy weapons to combat dark, unholy hordes of the night in a creepy, gothic castle.

The other is feminist propaganda that rips off Ridley Scott's alien, which was also feminist propaganda, and the only weapons you get are missiles and those ball bombs.

I personally prefer the ratchet and clank games to metroid, their both pretty similar, gameplay wise
