I try my best too now after hermiting for about a year, Idk if its working a though, i dont know if ive made any real friends yet.

They just pity you or see you as the clown, it always happened to me. They don't see you as equal or take you seriously since you have nothing to offer them, so to them you're a joke.
If you're good looking for example, they would like to be around you to halo them , if you have money, social status, famous, etc, you get it.

I can socialize but it always ends up very badly, so i just stay at home. No one calls anyway.
Id try to be myself but i fuck it up by trying to be funny or interesting and the whole room can get dead silent or very hostile.
I can't Sociaize at all. And it lead me to Trauma recently when I visited my new college. I can't Socialise with low intellect NTs at all. While most intellectual people look down upon me, So I am always lonely. I'm also Schizhoid so even If I do make friends, I can't have them for long
I can, but mostly as a joke for people to laugh at. I infiltrated my college social scene, and even the boat club, to the point where we still do zoom quizzes every week. Why am I an incel then, do you ask? Autism.
