This isn't even the first time I've read a story exactly like this, some autistic works at a store or something other corporation unpaid for like years then when they finally ask for paid work they get denied, it's so specific, what goes through the corporations heads?

What were these people/their parents thinking performing so much unpaid work at a minimum wage position? Even if the men doing the work were too disabled to recognise that they were being exploited/wasting their time, I wonder why their parents didn't take action earlier.
