Small kids getting bullied will always be a thing. I was bullied too from elementary up into my sophomore year in highschool.

I blame my dad for not teaching me how to fight. A responsible dad would have put me into sports at a young age and set up a punching bag in the garage or yard. Teach the very basic straight jab. Keeping your guard up. Overhand right power punch, combos and hooks. Bought a mat and teach the basics of take down defense and take downs. Strength training and dieting.

Instead I just suffered and was scared and intimidated all the time.
