I stopped a woman on the sidewalk because I wanted to ask for directions to a nearby grocery store, and she did tell me where to go, but if you guys saw her facial expressions and mannerisms, you would get an idea of what my face looks like, and that's not good. We shouldn't be able to tell. I wish I was like my retarded friend who doesn't understand social cues and socializes all the time. At least then my self esteem would've been higher.

Yep it really is a curse

because all you’re going to get are negative social cues

social cues mogs me

Exactly. And some might say that the ability to understand reality even when it is negative, is a good thing, but I disagree, and I believe you do too.

I have a hard time with them. Ah, that sounds like it was a brutal experience…

When someone doesn’t understand social cues it causes them to unintentionally cause bad social interactions so being able to understand social cues is good because it prevents bad social interactions from being caused

100%. And they always do the "step back" of disgust/fear when you approach them. Like a scared dog.

Yes but if you do understand them but still can't act normal then you are cooked even more, because you are aware of your failures and can do nothing about it
