I don't know. You have to consider that his peer group is already entrenched in the workforce. I'm not saying it's not doable, but I've looked into people trying to make friends as late adults (of course these people probably aren't NT either) and have struggles.

And it's also the right type of friends. You have to make high-status friends. Girls don't hang around in low-status social circles (at least not many). That group of friends playing DnD every week probably doesn't have many females.
