sorry for the delay I couldn't offer thoughts right away since I had to appeal my ban
MLP is not an LGBT-focused show, it depicts heterosexual marriage and procreation.
The last episode had a pair of background fillies give each other rings (they didn't even have lines) for half a second which is being seized upon to tarnish the entire thing which is ridiculous as fuck.
Meanwhile Simpsons had dozens of faggotry-focused episodes and nobody's coming after it.
I think it's less to do with the fact that it might have had very slight lgbt shit in it and more that it's aligned as a furry show which often gets lumped in as automatically being lgbt which I think is dumb.
that kind of lumping is incredibly low-IQ and the type of things I'd expect gays to promote so they can secure a strangelhold on furry fandom communities
