Mr. Kaufman here was sentenced in federal court earlier this year on one count of cyberstalking for creating multiple social media accounts to repeatedly threaten a couple he met in college. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Mr. Kaufman is being released today from FCI Elkton, a low-security institution that houses many white-collar criminals, such as Billy McFarland. Although there is no parole in the federal system, federal prisoners automatically receive good time credit if they do not commit any disciplinary infractions.
