But medically, autism is a spectrum, and the man I just showed is factually on the very high side of it. Most of us would likely show up as at least mildly autistic/non-neurotypical on an autism screening from how we were raised and lack of social interactions, but obviously nothing like the man I just posted. We might be like 25% autistic (lack of eye contact, timid voice, stress about social interactions, etc..) compared to a completely mute person scoring like 90% on the spectrum. It has a lot of different meanings today
