Ask Christians: Why do you believe in God?

May I ask honestly. Why do you dislike Christ so deeply? What moment in your life has led you to such angst toward our father in heaven?
Because I used to be in a small Christian cult and listened to him brainwash me. Luckily, my intuition was right, and for the first time, I thought with my own head, not someone else's.

I don't really hate him that much either, because he simply isn't real. I just hate the hypocrisy in the name of morality.
How is science and mathematics a logical fallacy?

Fallacies must be your hobby, right? Have I ever considered science or mathematics to be logical fallacies? Leaving theology to listen to second-rate priests—don't you see your faith is in trouble? If mathematics and science lead to the God of Christianity, then prove it to me with your own words.

@xek000000kk Are you by any chance from the US?

Tractate Shabbat 129b, it is stated that after Jesus's death the power of magic was diminished

if constants like the cosmological constant ~10 −120. galaxy formation would not occur. The strong nuclear force differs by only a few percent from what allows stable atoms.

"One reaction to these apparent enormous coincidences is to see them as substantiating the theistic claim that the universe has been created by a personal God and as offering the material for a properly restrained theistic argument – hence the fine-tuning argument. It's as if there are a large number of dials that have to be tuned to within extremely narrow limits for life to be possible in our universe. It is extremely unlikely that this should happen by chance, but much more likely that this should happen if there is such a person as God." — Alvin Plantinga, "The Dawkins Confusion: Naturalism ad absurdum"

Don't apply your experiences with man to God. Christians are not Christ.

You don't even have to trust me. I have no desire to gain anything from this, but there was a time in my life where I thought the Christian God was a lie as you do but I learned that there is a savior who was willing to forgive my sins and set me free.

I don't deny what you're saying, but I wouldn't agree that he is the God of Christianity and the God that Christians preach.

Okay, so you're saying most Christians don't worship Christ? Which is the real Christ? Your senses or the Bible? Isn't the Bible incredibly contradictory from a logical standpoint? And from the sense perspective, it's too subjective for God to be objective.

Okay, if God is real and he is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-good, how would he save you or me?

Because it makes everything make sense

What I mean is don't base your opinions of Jesus Christ on your experiences with man. Learn about who the Jesus of the Bible is without using your opinions of man to formulate your opinion

Turn to him and he will forgive your sins, therefor you are saved. This is part of free will

I have seen Him work too many miracles in my life to deny his exist.

Also, without his existence nothing would exist. For a creation to occur, there has to be a creator.

Out of fear of Him? There's no reliable evidence to prove that the Christian God is not evil, assuming he exists; and that the Bible is truly his word?
Because you’re afraid the Christian community where you live will shun you? Oh, that sounds more plausible. But who knows?
Because of a sense of moral superiority, looking down on others? This is what I see when Christian fanatics label me an atheist, aka a heretic.
Because of love, his gift? Huh??? Look at the disabled body he’s given you.
Because of morality, because of conscience? If everyone is a hypocrite—whether unintentionally or on purpose, whether they realize it or not—then you, the one who believes in morality and imposes it on others, are the only hypocrite.

Honestly, I don’t understand how these Christian-fanatic incels can believe in God beyond that sense of moral superiority and trampling on others.
I used to be an athiest, I cannot logically prove nor disprove the existence of God, but there is something that is truly beyond logic and reason that has undoubtedly pointed me towards Christ, and is pointing me currently.

((I am not a good example of a Christian btw, so don't ostracize your standards of Christianity based off of my behavior and stature. I'm super superrr far from the standard definition of one, but I'm trying.))

Beyond logic lie not only God, but countless other illogical and undefinable things as well.
