Are romance animes worth watching / is there any good ones?

The only anime i watched was jojo's bizzare adventure and it was like three years ago. I generally don't like anime because of how exaggerated everything is but i wonder if i should give it a try again. Recommend me some romance animes besides oregairu (i tried to watch but dropped it on the 3rd episode)

I only ever read yuri romance, because reading about a Chad or pretty boy getting with women feels cucked and suifuel and all straight romance mangas are like that (even in the few exceptions, the guy is not that ugly and/or has tons of redeeming qualities like being super tall, having a top tier frame, etc).
