In America, we have left or right. We have one or the other. You vote repub, or democrat, or you waste it. These "compasses" are a matter of pure idealism. It says nothing about pragmatic voting decisions (Hyoormpf every time, no question) and defines ideology incorrectly anyway. If you really compare his policies on the political compass to Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party establishments in general, Trump is further left economically and socially authoritarian. For example, Hillary Clinton was extremely economically laizze-faire while Trump's policies could be best summed up as state-capitalism with a hint of protectionism. No surprise there. Really only outsider Democrats like Bernie Sanders were what the Democratic Party is often portrayed as: The politically correct progressives and social democrats. They are truly far further from that assumption.
