The only thing school taught me was basic literacy and arithmetic. Everything else was learned independently at home from either asking someone, reading about it or watching youtube.

Yes.

But I don't think I'd be able to do high school math after all this time:forcedsmile:.

Yes.
I self-studied almost everything.
School was fine in terms of information content, but it wasn't enough.

Yes, all school did was ruin me

i didn't learn to read and write at school either, i mostly learned it by myself. school helped me get better at it

this counts double if you're autistic and couldn't focus on anything from all the bullying

yes because i enjoy learning things on my own compared to when im forced to at school, so naturally i spend more time and energy on my own time learning

School is just a propaganda factory where they shit out 9-5 goy slaves every year.

Yes, genuinely what was the point of all those wasted years? I’ll never get those years back. I pretty much was just going to school to get bullied. Home was school, and school was prison.

No, I'm completely the opposite. I was only ever able to learn from the rigid structure of schoolwork. I'm completely lost when learning on my own.

I also have never had the passion or motivation to learn anything on my own accord. School at least motivated me somewhat with a quantifiable score.

Nope, not even the basic stuff. My uncle taught me the alphabet and basic reading and math skills when I was very young, which further developed through internet exposure. My father, rarely did I ever see him, also taught me complex words and their meanings, aswell as nearly the entirety of American history (which I've forgotten).

I learned nothing from school, the stuff I did learn I've forgotten. It's just a useless system to indoctrinate you into becoming obedient soy consuming wageslaves, but still necessary to undergo if you want to get a career.

School isn't there to make you learn. It's essentially an indoctrination camp with recess.

Mate 18 years spent there and the only useful things i learnt is reading-writing skills and very very basic maths. Everything else is as useless as it gets. But i mean that wasn't ever the purpose of school right, it was to make me an obedient worker ant which it did and did so fucking well. I don't fucking know you fucking kikes, give me my 18 years and all the sanity and myself i lost in those cramped rooms. GIVE IT FUCKING BACK YOU THEIVES! GIVE ME MY LIFE BACK!!!!!!!!!

That system is so narrow and far behind, none of the useful things that I liked, such as coding and painting, were taught in public school, social skills aren't taught in school, economics and adult skills aren't taught in school... basically they waste your time and assume that your parents or self-studying will fill their gaps. And don't get me started on the teaching methods they use on the few useful things they teach.
School is clearly an one size fit all system, designed around only a specific type of NT foid, who gets to enjoy it and gets the most out of it, and everyone else has to accept it and adapt.

Freedom. Homework and ‘go study’ is functionally slavery. So you need harsh punishments to incentivise doing it

Yes and I still learn that way. You learn at your pace AND you find what works for you.

A certain question you have can be answered and explained in several ways and some you will understand faster than others.
So, you look for YOUR answer, YOUR solution.

For example I have looked at several videos on how to change spark plugs, once, and one video was right for me.

I have also noticed that when I write something I have learned / am learning down, I can memorize it faster and better.
It's that mind muscle connection and muscle memory that helps, I guess.
But you also think about how you want to word your notes so you will understand them better when you get back to it later.

Absolutely, the only think I learnt in school was writing, Spanish language and reading, I didn't learn shit in high school, In fact I have learnt more English here than in elementary, secondary and high school together.
