What's the cause of irritable bowel syndrome?
I'm pretty sure i picked up this awful disease during my early 20's precisely in my college era due to the extreme stress , isolation and loneliness. i just hate this subhuman disease not only my life is shit in its own but i have to endure random episodes of severe stomach pain and mood dips.

Mom has IBS-D. I'm getting IBS-D now from time to time after gallbladder removal. I think mine is due to bile acid triggering my diarrhea. I am thinking of getting a bile acid sequestrant to prevent the triggering of diarrhea.

I've gotten IBS-C too in the past before my gallbladder removal. I used to get very constipated and bloated. That's how I developed hemorrhoids. I dealt with it through walking to improve my motility.

It seems that you have a very concise diagnosis. My doc just told me i have IBS and that's it, however i have more of IBS- C based on your description and i never had much of diarrhea only occasional constipation abd frequent cramps, bloating, fatigue and ofc depression as result of bad gut- brain neural pathways or dopamine distribution

Yes it made me very self conscious when I was younger having to shit all the time and holding in gas. I’m 26 now though so it doesn’t matter. I’m also truecel so I just shit and fart without hesitation

Yes that's IBS-C. When I had that, I used to get pain in my lower back and butthole and it'd make me scared and paranoid that I had developed colon cancer from my years of constipation.

I loved milk i used to drink lots of raw cow milk and i believe it was the reason my bones are strong even tho I'm as skinny as a meth head jfl.

I still love dairy and have it daily despite my IBS. I don't get diarrhea every time I have it. Just occasionally.
