I played Diablo 2 and 3. but haven't tried 4 beta. will go thru it when done with XCOM and a few other games I have to finish

Again, what turns me off from modern gaming is how games aren’t sold to you complete. Back in the day, the whole game was on the MASKROM inside the cartridge whatever glitches or bugs that the testers didn’t catch are still on there, so developers were forced to do everything they couldto make sure it was perfect.

Also, they tried to cram as much features and fun things into the game as possible. There were no such things as DLC or updates. You got the complete experience and then some.

What set me off on this tangent was seeing Diablo 4 advertised with Gold editions or whatever, shilling features for skins for other blizzard games like WoW. It honestly is heartbreaking to see how many schemes are going on in modern gaming and many gamers are putting up with them.
