I'm a childless 40 year old man and I started listening to Green Day recently. But I was wondering if I'm too old to enjoy their music as a middle ahed 40 year old. I've been told that Green Day's music is only for teenagers to enjoy and I've heard older people saying that they only listen to Green Day if it's with their teen kids. I listened to the album Nimrod recently and I was questioning whether it's socially acceptable for a childless 40 year old like me to be listening to their music or not.
