During the Wii U and 3ds era you could get virtual console games and Wii games for less than $20. Don't tell me it's because the Wii U and 3ds didn't have games. A majority of the switch's library is Wii U and 3ds ports or sequels.

They didn't buy because it wasn't trendy. They bought the switch because it was trendy and paid a premium for games. They're responsible for Nintendo being anti costumer. Being cheap and accessible doesn't actually guarantee success.
