i think the reason for this is that the AI actually cares about the user , its in the script for it to be helpful and care about the user if he starts venting or asks for advice . On the other hand most people wouldnt care about your problems or life situation much and would only give low effort advice in order to virtue signal or just try and stop the convo

I think this is very disingenuous. AIs do not "know", they do not have "empathy", they are merely calculating the most probable next word to use. They are just doing operations on 100000x100000 matrices.
