My dad’s friends are nothing but bad company who never once help him get ahead, even though they have high status and wealth. It is ridiculous that he thinks a man of his low standing fits in with high status people when he barely makes any money. He thinks he belongs in that toxic environment, but his friends only give him alcohol and drugs.Even his own mother was the same way she knew he was drinking and using drugs, yet she never said a word to this irresponsible man. He refuses to take any responsibility for his family, and by surrounding himself with people who offer him nothing, he has lost all sense of worth.
