I’m sick and tired of clicking on videos that are 1-4 minutes long and having to watch an ad OR SOMETIMES TWO ads beforehand. I do have adblocker on my computer but I usually don’t watch YouTube on my computer, usually on the smart-TV application.
YouTube videos should not have ads on them.
I can understand normal videos having ads, but short 1-4 minute videos having ads on them is absolutely insane.
YouTube is practically a monopoly so it does everything to maximize it's profit (and surveillance + censorship)
So filter you're TV then.

Remember when YT used to have zero ads? Good times. At best there was a banner ad next to the video and that was it

I use Brave browser. It blocks ads out of the box and usually doesn't break when YouTube gets an update 
Those days are long gone
If your smart TV has a browser, use Invidious.io. it is a frontend to YouTube that blocks all of its ads.
It's either you buy premium or watch YouTube somewhere else in a way you can use an AdBlocker.
Or better yet plug your computer into your TV and watch YouTube that way ad-free.
I don't know what TV software you use and if it supports third party applications.
