I used to think Highschool was like in those movies or romance anime with a bunch of school clubs, young women to love and have romance with, parties to be invited to etc. If only I knew what things were actually like

The "Entertainment Industry." Look at the garbage that just won at the Emmy's. The idea that an ad-based for-profit model could produce meaningful art turned out to be a fantasy and instead we get niche media for targeted shopper groups. Nearly all of it caters to women so has bluepilled ethics and sappy motives. What does cater to men caters mostly to brutes so that cleaver writing is replaced by mindless violence. To add to this, even small-scale for-profit media like podcasters or youtubers can never not just cater to their most profitable viewers. That's why jackasses like Kirk never actually grow and change their views since they are selling a specific product to a select fanbase.
