The majority of young men say that there is a significant amount of pressure for them to be masculine. Including 6 out of 10 saying that they need to have lots of sexual partners and to join in when there is a conversation about women. 7 out of 10 saying that they need to resort to violence if "provoked."

This shows that millennial men more likely than not generally feel very low of themselves since only about a quarter of them describe themselves as very masculine.

Americans also believe that the reasons for the differences in how men are different when expressing their feelings and picking their hobbies is largely due to societal factors.
