Serious You guys know about anyone who has gotten gastric bypass? If so, how are they doing now after surgery?

Yes and in the procress it reduces acid production and hence reflux. Another thing that it does is reroute the stomach straight to the intestines which helps to reduce reflux too due to increased gastric motility.

Its either bypass or fundoplication but the problem with fundoplication is that it can fail.
