In America definitely no lol. But tbh the extent to which races stick together in prison is kinda overstated. It mainly happens in diverse prisons; if a race happens to make up the majority of a jail's inmates (even if it's a slim majority) chances are they'll organize on gang lines rather than racial lines

Prison ain't what it's like in the movies, nobody really cares for what crime you did and I spoke to some guys as well as @Dr. Autismo can testify to this. The guys who do sexual crimes are usually housed separately in their own wing, and I believe it's true across a lot of correctional institutions unless you do some other violent crimes as well like Murder then you get housed in Gen pop.
