Russia's standing army is 1,020,000 and Putin said the plan was to increase that to 1,150,000 men in 2023.

The thought was the partial mobilization would add 300,000 to Russia's army. But the way Russia is mass psychotically rounding up men, I wonder if its not a lot higher than 300,000 they plan to add.

The DPR and LPR have about another 125,000 soldiers.

never began for @Furlossus

More people will die

Ya the war is just in the scaling up phase, since the European front started in February, that is just 7 months in.
Kinda dumb, why can't they just agree for 10% landgrab for Russia and peace?

Ya it could still end with that in honesty, part of what Russia is doing may be to demonstrate they have the power and the will to hold onto these 4 SE provinces in Ukraine, thus force the West/Ukraine to accept that.

Yeah but originally they wanted to occupy the whole Ukraine

One way Russia and the West view it on the simplest level.. Ukraine is 41 million people and whoever gets them basically can add 300,000 soldiers to their standing army. Plus the economic resources of the country.

If Russia did get Ukraine it would link them up with Hungary too, and then that would link Russia by land with Serbia. It would also link them up with Slovakia, and make bringing Bulgaria and Greece onto the Russian side a lot easier.

Moldova would go down to Russia too if they got Ukraine.. Moldova is just small 2.5 million people, but it also was in the Soviet Union.

What's the point of human soldiers? Let some genius nerd incel do 2 complete remakes to Boston Dynamics' Atlas and you got superhuman robot soldiers

Its something I don't like about the Russian long term plan. In another 20-30 years the West is going to have not just drones in the air, but drones on the ground too. And all these drones and robots are going to be linked up with a super intelligence computer and communications network.

So a question I had was even lets say Russia adds a bunch of countries in the next 10-20 years.. can they really withstand the West long term anyway.

Russia needs full mobilization. This partial faggotry isn't enough. They need like 10 million troops on the ground.

They probably don't have enough equipment to give them all and the logistics needed to actually use them in Ukraine would be massive. Russia isn't the 80s Soviet union anymore

insane how they were able to do it 70 years ago but can't now. Fallen hard

Say the total salary and benefits cost is $4,000 USD a month including for officers and senior soldiers averaged in there. So $50,000 a year. You can then get 300,000 extra soldiers for annual salary cost of $15 billion a year, which Russia can afford without problems.

Where it starts adding up is say infantry need $100,000 USD worth of gear and ammo and cars and trucks on average each. Then that is $45 billion to kit out 300,000 extra soldiers for Russia.

thankful i don't have to die for that old cunt

Look at this horseshit man.

TransGenderZelensky, like the pompous dumbass he is, is demanding that the U.S. and all Nuclear powers launch Nukes at Russian nuclear installations because why again? "Muh Globohomo Transgender ethics"?

Meanwhile Putin is escalating his language in using Nukes against the West.

Wtf man...

Isn't it so obvious that this funding of Ukrainian war is seen by Libs as a giant civil rights "muh Woh-men" religion? It's crazy and it's driving The West further into madness and..maybe even economic bankruptcy? Meanwhile idiots like Lindsey Graham have forgotten how to be conservatives.. hence Cuckservatives!
