Women are just that, Wombmen. They are defined by their hole.

Not etymologically correct as such, but it's worth remembering.

Cunt is similar in form to Latin cunnus "female pudenda" (also, vulgarly, "a woman"), which is likewise of disputed origin, perhaps literally "gash, slit"

So since ancient times wombmen have been called cunts because thats what they are.

Also the origin of the term cunnilingus the pre-existing Old English equivalent of which was lick-twat
