This anime is so depressing. Total blackpill overdose. It put me into a depressive mood with a lot of anxiety. Everyone in the show is suffering greately. The world is in its last stages where the biosphere has collapsed from extinction of animals, too much human intervention, too much technology, too much war, and doing heavy experiments (in trying to open otherworldly utopias) which drew so much energy that it broke the whole ecosystem. Now the ruling class/nobility are only focused on preserving their decadent hedonistic lifestyles and planning their escape to their utopic paradise (for which they're conducting those heavy experiments that degrade the environment) while everyone around them rots in misery. Their only chance is to live like NPCs by not caring.
One of the antagonists is a sadistic matriarch noble lady that rules one of the last strongholds which can support human life. The other antagonist who is the main one, is a oneitis cuck that goes insane after his oneitis stacy falls into coma and is then one day killed by her identical twin sister who is the sadistic matriarch I mentioned earlier. Overall, its just too depressing.
